Meet the Team

Maria H Randle

From Lancaster, PA, Maria has lived in Maryland since 1995 and has been a driving force in the employee benefits industry since she answered a blind ad for a Life and Health brokerage in Baltimore. In 1996, Maria earned her Life and Health license, followed by her Property and Casualty license in 2019.

For years, Maria has played a pivotal role in the behind-the-scenes operations of WORKPERX, previously known as Dana Insurance, which was originally located in Timonium. Having a degree in Human Resource Management from Shippensburg University has provided her with a solid foundation when working alongside small business owners and Human Resource representatives.

As a testament to our commitment to diversity and inclusion, WORKPERX obtained its Minority Certification during Maria’s tenure. This certification enables us to assist carriers and brokers in meeting their MBE/WBE needs while providing exceptional service to small businesses in Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia.

Additionally, as the Affordable Care Act (ACA) came into effect, our agency embraced the opportunity to engage with Maryland Health Connection and DC Health Link with Maria’s help. Our focus in these areas remains on health and welfare benefit education, advocacy, and unwavering support.

In 2020, Maria’s dedication led her to purchase the agency and relocate our office to Bel Air, MD, bringing her closer to her home base. Here, Maria and her husband, Brian, have raised their two children and fostered strong roots in the community.

Anne L Kaufhold

Since 2004, Anne has been an invaluable member of WORKPERX. Over the years, she has acquired her Life and Health license and Maryland Exchange certification, further enhancing her expertise in the field.

Anne plays a crucial role in supporting our clients with any service-related issues pertaining to their benefits. She facilitates smooth account setup between the carrier and client, ensuring seamless communications and operations. Her contributions include assisting with open enrollment meetings, compiling essential data, and creating comprehensive reports for our subcontracting support contracts.

Before joining WORKPERX, Anne gained valuable experience as a Stop Loss Coordinator at A&C in Lancaster, PA. In this role, she expertly handled stop claims to carriers and managed group enrollment and billing processes. Her experience in these areas adds valuable expertise to our team.

Anne finds joy in her Pennsylvania residence when she's not dedicating herself to providing outstanding service to our clients. Her active lifestyle includes cooking, gardening, and caring for her family, including three beloved fur babies. In both her personal and professional life, Anne understands the importance of advocating for individuals and strives to provide a genuine personal touch in all that she does.
